105. I’LL TELL THE WORLD
1. I’ll tell the world that I’m a Christian –
I’m not ashamed His name to bear;
I’ll tell the world that I’m a Christian
I’ll take Him with me anywhere.
I’ll tell the world how Jesus saved me,
And how he gave me a life brand-new;
And I know that if you trust Him
That all He gave me he’ll give to you,
I’ll tell the world that He’s my Saviour,
No other one could love me so;
My life, my all is His forever,
And where He leads me I will go.
2. I’ll tell the world that He is coming –
It may be near or far away;
But we must live as if His coming
Would be tomorrow or today
For when He comes and life is over;
For those who love Him there’s more to be;
Eyes have never seen the wonders
That He’s preparing for you and me,
O tell the world that you’re a Christian,
Be not ashamed his name to bear;
O tell the world that you’re a Christian,
And take Him with you ev’ry where
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
