DCLM Sincere Milk 29 NOVEMBER 2021 — Made for God

TOPIC: MADE FOR GOD

TEXT: PSALM 139:14-18

14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

Key Verse: “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well” (Psalm 139:14).

MESSAGE:

God made us and loves each of us very much. He wants to be with us every moment of our lives. He made us for His glory. This means that, He made us in order to show the world that He is the only wise, loving and perfect God.

We get bored by others and we may bore them if we are with them for a long time. But God is never tired of us because He loves us. He made us so He could have a permanent relationship with us. We need to appreciate God for His love and all He has given us – salvation, holiness, wisdom, good health and other good things.

To give glory to God who made us, you must behave and speak in a loving manner to show others that you are a true child of God. You should also tell others how good and wonderful God is as you maintain a good relationship with them, and daily live to please God.

Prayer: Lord, let my whole life and living give glory to Your Name.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
