Text: Joshua 10:11-15
11And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword.
13And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
14And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for Israel.
15And Joshua returned, and all Israel with him, unto the camp to Gilgal.
Key Verse: “And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies.” Joshua 10:13a
Message
“And nothing shall impossible unto you” is the direct word of Jesus in Matthew 17:20 while teaching His disciple about faith. This word of Jesus tells us that there is no limit to what God can do. Friends of Jesus have a great power at their disposal to turn any situation around in their favour. The man of God, Joshua in our Bible passage trusted God to do the extraordinary. The Bible clearly confirms that they that do know their God shall be strong and they will do exploits.
Our God who is the Creator of the entire universe has all power and He is in control of everything that He has created. The sun and the moon had to stand still for Joshua and the children of Israel to conquer their enemies. The Bible also says that concerning the works of my hands command ye me. Your story is about to change to a miracle, if only you can stand with Jesus in the place of prayer. Pray until something happens! Write three prayer points, each for your family, nation and self. Spent some time to pray on them.

Prayer for today: In the Name of Jesus, I speak to every mountain in my life to give way now to the manifestation of God’s miracle.
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
