TOPIC: “NOW I KNOW”
BIBLE TEXT: LUKE 10:17-21
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
KEY VERSE: “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19).
MESSAGE:
Jesus has power over heaven and earth and every creature. On the cross, He bruised and crushed the head of Satan and rendered him powerless. This same power to tread upon Satan and his agents has been given to all friends of Jesus.
The unfortunate thing is that, some children do not know that God has given them the power to overcome Satan and all his evil works. They suffer because of their ignorance and not because Satan has power over them. You do not have to live a defeated life. The word of God (Bible) contains everything that you need to know to have victory over sin, failure, Satan, sickness and every form of evil.
Satan is afraid of children of God who know that Jesus has conquered him and has also given His friends power to overcome him. Prayerfully read your Bible every day, believe and claim the promises in it, and obey all that God commands. Now that you know that you have power over the devil, use the power and never be afraid of the devil again.
PRAYER: Father, thank You for giving me power over Satan. Please help me to always use Your power in me and never be afraid again.

1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)

3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
