Message

The pastor who at a time built the largest single church in the world, David Yonggi Cho, says, “Our goals must first be spiritually visualized, then step by step they can be reached.” Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla, SpaceX, and several other companies, is known for his ambitious goals and strategic planning which have helped him to achieve so much in life. Goal-setting lays the foundation for any successful plan, be it spiritual, academic or vocational plans. Proper planning provides directions and timelines to our goals.

Youths can achieve success by setting clear goals, planning strategically, and executing them diligently. A simple yet powerful strategy is setting SMART goals: Specific – Clearly define your goal; Measurable – Track progress; Achievable – Set realistic steps; Relevant – Align with your values; Time –bound – Set deadlines. Above all, commit your plans to God through prayer and trust Him to guide your path to success (Psalm 37:5). Remember to be in a good relationship with God who is the Giver of life and wisdom.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Lord, help me to plan and set clear goals. Amen.

CHALLENGE

Strategic planning and goal-setting bring success.

GOSPEL REALM: STEPS TO SALVATION
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
