DCLM Sincere Milk 26 July 2026 — Trusting God’s Timing
Topic: Trusting God’s Timing
Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 3:11-14 (KJV)
11He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
12I know that there is no good in them, but for a man to rejoice, and to do good in his life.
13And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
14I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him.
KEY VERSE: “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11
Message
God is perfect, and He does everything according to His perfect timing. Sometimes, we may want things to happen right away, but God knows the right time for everything in our lives. Trusting His timing helps us grow and learn.
Ella wanted to learn how to play the piano, but her parents told her to wait. Instead, they bought her a small keyboard to practise with. Though Ella was disappointed at first, she started to improve as she practised. When the right time came for piano lessons, she was prepared and more excited than ever. Ella realized that God’s timing had made everything better.
Sometimes, waiting can be hard, but it helps us grow in patience, trust, and preparation. God knows what is best for us and when the right time will come. Trusting His timing means we are allowing Him to work in our lives in the best way possible. God’s timing is always perfect, and when the right moment comes, we will be ready to receive His blessings.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
God, help me trust You and teach me to patiently wait for Your perfect plan.

Psalm 27:13-14
1. Admit that you are a sinner. "For all [humans] have sinned, and comes short of the glory of God....[and] the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 3:23)
2. Repent now. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out ...[for] if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness " (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9)
3. Believe that God loves you and Jesus died for you. "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet Sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
4. Invite Jesus into your life through prayer of faith. Jesus says, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20)
